The relevant steps to a successful sale of a pet care facility:
Marketing: We have a professional graphic designer on staff who will create an impressive Presentation Package for your facility. If real estate is included in the sale, we'll hire a competent photographer to take pictures of the property and buildings; these pictures are also used to produce a virtual tour. The presentation package includes detailed information about your operations, history, services, demographics, community, etc. We prepare financial statements that clearly demonstrate the financial benefits of owning your business. Our marketing reach is global, national and local, including directly to the pet industry as well as to our Proprietary Buyer Database (often the source of a well qualified, ready to buy Buyer).
Confidentiality: Every prospective buyer is required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement and complete a Buyer Profile prior to us releasing any information about your facility. This is to ensure that proprietary business information is presented to qualified buyers only.
Tours: Once a buyer has reviewed the Presentation Package and preliminary financial information, they are ready for a tour. We will prequalify the buyer with our lender and schedule a buyer meeting / facility tour with you at which Teija is present.
Negotiations: We handle all negotiations between you and the buyer with your full participation.
Purchase and Sale Agreements: We will prepare preliminary documents regarding the sale for your attorney review and comment. This saves you money and time.
Financing: We secure financing for the buyer. We have a long term relationship with Wells Fargo SBA lending as well as other SBA lenders and; after all, if the buyer can't secure financing, we can't sell your business. We are highly successful in obtaining financing.
Due Diligence: We manage the Due Diligence process in a professional and timely manner and assist in resolving any issues that might arise and threaten Closing. Your personal Project Manager will start on gathering documents early in the process so when you get to this stage, the time impact on you will be minimal.
Escrow / Closing Process: We serve as the 'cog' for all professionals involved in bringing the transaction to a successful close. We handle and resolve issues, concerns and last minute challenges. We thrive in keeping a deal together!
